Snowed in on alabama ave<3

The picture to the left is a picture of my street as of today where my apartment is. That was at about 5:00. when we were only at about 4-5 inches. Now were just completely snowed in. In reality we should have maybe went home last night, but because i had work and internship, i was pooped out. As much as were jealous of everyone that was able to head home, me and dan are still having fun. We went for a few walks out in the snow. This afternoon we actually ventured out to shaw's and it was quite an intresting drive there and drive back.

during all the craziness of the weather, my little pumpkin came out of his underground house to say hello and to chew on his paper towel roll that dan so nicely provided for him. I told little man that santa was sending him good gifts this year and he said he wanted more cheerios and better food. I think we can work with that :-) all and all he's doing well, playing all night, sleeping all day.

all and all thanks to a really good chef named dan reich we had a very delicious dinner.

quincy market and such.

Saturday Me and Dan decided to make another trip to boston. Instead of roaming around, we decided to head to quincy market because alot of people have told us about it, and it sounded like alot of fun. when we got there we were surprised as to what was there and how much we had to look at and how many stores we could go in. Of course we made a trip into victoria secret, that was a must. Then we saw there was a croc outlet store, i ended up getting a pair of shoes there. While walking around we managed to see people protesting because of the fact that people were able to have horse and carriage rides. We also saw a bunch of band kids playing there instruments in shorts. it was absolutly way to cold out for shorts... i guess they though boston was actually florida lol to continue on our journey through quincy market.. we managed to see a group of guys that got a crowd together.. so being us.. we walked over to watch. the group of guys had 5 people lined up in a line... and after a few other stunts to get the crowd excited, the guy did a flying leap over the 5 people. it was outrageous. ive never seen anything like it before... but then again you see alot of stuff there you dont see other places lol. While at quincy market we also saw that the restaurant cheers was there, being 21 now i thought it would be fun.. since the food didn't look to good, we should go in and sit at the bar like the guys on cheers used to do. since i can't make up my mind, the bartender made me a delicious drink.. but it looked really bad... yet tasted sooo good. finally after all the fun we had all day it was time to head back to south station, we were able to make the 855 train and got back to providence at a decent time. overall we had so much fun.. cant wait to go back again :-)

Winter Trimester.... rediculous

The title of this blog pretty much sums up what my weeks are like. Im basically dead by friday night because i chose to work at my job and do intership all week and have the weekends off. I have wednesday mornings off from my job.. but theres no sleeping in option because of where i live, don't even get me started with that lol anyway, so i start my mornings off at the convience store- aka my part time job from 745am till 12:45. I get to serve meal plan food to the kids that are so unpatient you'd think there wasn't enough food for all of them. We usually get a rush of people in between classes, but thats okay, i don't mind. The thing that pisses me off and it does not matter what shift you work everyone does it..... i hate the kids the come in at the last 10 minutes of meal plan. it's not when there are only a few people... but when they come in groups of 20 and 30. I seriouslly want to quit my job when that happens especially in the morning when im trying to clean up and get out of there to be on time for class. I don't like morning meal plan at the convience store... it's nothing healthy.. so why have it? idk the answer and never will. i do have an easy job.. but stupid kids make it annoying. After im finished at work i have to head over to another meal plan site on campus for my internship. I'd have to say it's about a step up from my job... but i wouldn't get to carried away with that. do i like my internship? not so much... but since jwu "forgot" to put me on the list for internship.. i got whatever they had last minute. all of last week the only thing i did was prep stupid meal plan stuff and wash dishes... this upcoming week im suppose to be on the line.. but i mean i do that at my job... moral of the story... lets hope i get something out of this trimester... cause right now.. im not seeing that light at the end of the tunnel

thanksgiving 2008<3

This past week was awesome, well for a few reasons. It was the week of thanksgiving :-) and a week to spend with the people i love the most. all week i spent alot of time with either my family or the reichs. It was very nice seeing everyone, even though it seemed really short. It was so much fun. Dan and I spent alot of time at his house, playing with puppies and just relaxing. Dan's aunt gidget was nice enough to supply us with a new crazy/adventurous cage for little man. He loves it. It has lots of tubes and crazy parts to it. he seems to have a little bit to much fun in it. we love watching him have all that fun. For thanksgiving we ate turkey at my house, we even got to help a little bit with the production of thanksgiving dinner. everything was delicious. After dinner we headed out to dan's house where his house was filled with "lots of funny people" and cute puppies running around. I think my favorite part was being attacked by migo at the door, boy did i miss that silly pup from grenada. After yummy deserts, we really all just sat around the table talking. I miss everyone while im at school, so it was really nice to spend time with everyone. Especially my mom. i miss her when im away, i sometimes forget how nice it is.. just to go out and get soup and ice cream together @ fridays. I miss those times. I recal when i was younger not appreciating my mother sometimes, i regret somethings and find myself trying to reconnect with my mother sometimes so we can keep our good relationship. I've learned that nobody or nothing should come in between our relationship... ever. There was so much to be thankful for this thanksgiving. I'd say for being able to have my father at thanksgiving and to have so many people that i love and care for in my life that love and care for me back... it's plenty to be thankful for this holiday season.

this picture was taken about a year ago of me and amie. i've known her forever. as long as i can think back to.. i've been friends with her. she's always been my rock and i've been her's. she would be arguing and loosing friends.. and so would i.. just as our relationship got more solid and stronger. we've been through so much together it's not even funny.. good times. amazing times.. funny times... hilarious times.. scary times... flat out sad times. it's so refreshing to have a friend for that long. i know so many people that would kill for our friendship... oh well. it's something we've worked so hard to have.. but had so much fun in the process. yesterday me and dan met up at the woodbridge mall with her and mel (her girlfriend). we ate lunch at ruby tuesdays and just sat there reminising about everything. dan and mel were like um ok.. while me and amie peed our pants laughing lol. it was great. then we were able to just walk around the mall and chat. laughing and catching up. such a great day with them. i wish i could do it more often. she's my one in a million friend.. always has been.. always will be. your hard pressed to fill her shoes as a best friend :-). after our lovely outing with them.. we headed to dan's house. as soon as i got in the door the lovely trio.. minus migo came up to me sniffing and growling like normal.... maddy running around with the damn chipmunks haha.. lexy sittin in the corner growlin at me and lukiee jumping on me. oh how i missed getting 9 layers of hair all over my pants and clothes hahah. it's totally worth it though.. i love the pups. especially my boyfriend lukie... who cuddled next to me all night. i am looking forward to seeing cait and the return of migo... he will make things more alive at the reich house :-) it was relaxing just to hang out and watch sum t.v.. all and all it was a great day. sometimes i am so busy at school and with classes and everything else going on... i forget about relaxing. so once again it's great to be home...

"dedicated to little man"

I have a new best friend... a puppy named luke may get jealous if he were to get his "paws" on this blog. My new best friend is "little man" or little pumpkin as i tend to call him. I found him at the pet store in west warwick, ri. Although he was sleeping in between the creepiest hamsters alive... i knew he was the one i wanted. Completely white.. with one random grey stripe up his back... this little guy took the cake. I've had him for a few months now... and i swear he just gets more entertaining as the days go by. Currently he is in a tiny cage, but i'd like to change that when i can find him a better home. At my apt in rhode island... he runs free in his little ball at night... me and dan watch him and laugh as he colides into a wall.. or knocks something over. As we continue to watch him... after putting him back in the cage he still never ceases to amaze us... sitting in his food dish to eat... knocking his little tv that i bought for him over... trying to make his wheel fall down.. i still think those two creepy hamsters corrupted him a bit at the pet store. I've had 4 other hamsters.. and although i know the outcome... i still enjoy having one. Little man is currently okay with me rubbing his back.. but when u cross that line he's tryin to nibble ur fingers off. When i leave my apt to go to class or work.. usually i get a face like " don't leave.. i like to know ur here with me" or stay and play kinda look" which brings me to the point of... i don't care what kinda pet owner you are... ur going to talk to your pets.. i've seen it first hand cuz my boyfriend has 4 golden retrievers and i think we all tend to talk to them lol.. i definatly find myself talkin to my little guy too. moral of the story... i love my little man<3>

-First blog-my 21st- Finals- Home

First of all let me just say... this is my first blog ever! i finally decided to jump on the bandwagon of blogging. I thought it was silly,, but let's just say i enjoy reading about other peoples stuff...so i thought maybe they'd like to get a glimpse into my crazy world.. and crazy mind. lol. Considering im pretty new at this.. i have so much to write about. I just recently celebrated my 21st birthday. it was a great big celebration. considering i was at school when this happened my family decided to come down and join in on the celebrations.... that was pretty intresting.. although it was great to see them... a heads up might have been in order...especially being my 21'st and all lol well all and all it was a great time. cheers to 21. now time to get down to buisness.. FINALS. although i only had two.. they were still enough to keep me busy. plus going into work at 745am for a few mornings... didn't help me when i was trying to study at night. For my public speaking class.. i had to present to the class something that i could demonstrate, after several days of thinking..... i came up with my plan of action. "oreo pudding pie" and guess what? that bad ass pie got me an A on my final. I even offered my teacher a piece and she denied it... i thought are you crazy? lol so i shared with my fellow co-workers at my job. they were appreciative of my pie. I also took another class called dining room earlier in the trimester called dining room 2. it was a 9 day 6 hour lab. wawaweewa was that a long 9 days.. but i passed that class with a B and i was exstatic. my last class this tri was nutrition. i don't even wanna talk about it... lets just say.... i hope to god i passed. when finals were over.. i jumped for joy.. cause were done with the first tri. one more to go as a sophmore.... i still have alot of catching up to do... but for now im finally home in freehold for about a week relaxing... and living up my time to be lazy cuz next trimester is going to be long with internship for 40 hours a week... and working the rest of the time at my job. good times. but ill save that for another blog. :-)
